The Sacramento Ballroom Society will be hosting a dance floor and interactive stage at Gold Rush Days in Old Sacramento Labor Day weekend. We are seeking volunteers to dance with the public, or demonstration dances in brief shows. If you do not dance, we also need hucksters, and shepherds. If you do not own a costume, we also need photographers and dance "ringers." These folks also help keep the floor moving and help let the public know we are an interactive stage. If you would like to learn to dance we offer free workshops over the summer, check our volunteer schedule. If you would like help with your costuming, contact us through the feedback page if you would like to join the festvities at Gold Rush Days.

Deadline: August 1st, 2011. If you would like to perform on our stage at Gold Rush Days, please contact us before August 2011 to schedule a performance time. -->

Special thanks to fellow members of the Folk Dance Federation of California, local dance schools and generous volunteers for making performing at this event possible with us. Contact us through our feedback page to volunteer.
